I packed PHP 4.4.5RC1 today, which you can find here:

Windows binaries will follow suit.
Please test it carefully, and report any bugs in the bug system, but
only if you have a short reproducable test case.
If everything goes well, we will probably release PHP 4.4.5 before the
end of the month.

Just a quick question: Running make test reports some tests to fail, is
this expected or should this be looked at?

Those two seem to have been reintroduced in 4.4.5, they worked in 4.4.4
for me!

For the record, I do not commit anymore to php4. I do not have the
time to deal with all the complications in there. You may ask Derick
if you like one patch or another back ported to php4.
