It seems that nobody applied my patch to tidy (maybe because of the hot
discussion).

It fixes a bug and completes the changes to the StudlyCaps convention. It
also frees up some memory, because I've removed an unused function (that was
used to throw exceptions).
It would be great that this patch was commited before RC2, as the others
bugs were already corrected by John, Derick, and my previous patch.

I asked John to apply it. I prefer him to make sure it's OK (although I
looked over it and it looks fine).
