FYI the release tarball seems to have been regenerated after making
available for download. I retrieved a php-5.6.9.tar.bz2 file with md5
22a4a0b3d80bffd620da8821e847538d this morning, likely a bit before
this announcement email. That early tarball is missing the following files:
- Zend/zend_ini_parser.c
- Zend/zend_ini_parser.h
- Zend/zend_ini_parser.output
- Zend/zend_language_parser.c
- Zend/zend_language_parser.h
- Zend/zend_language_parser.output
and configure was generated using autoconf 2.69. The current tarball has
md5 561f37377833772ace776143c5687884, contains those files and configure
was generated using autoconf 2.67.
I guess the current tarball is the official one and the earlier one was
withdrawn without notice because the error was detected before the
announcement email.
Regards,
Rainer

hi
both are "official", I've just screwed up the process of generating the
first one (had an older bison as default which couldn't generate those
files).
I've updated the tarballs and the associated md5/sha256 sums
http://git.php.net/?p=web/php.git;a=commit;h=ff6b05100256c9fe4638f7c2a53dc73738a96240
http://git.php.net/?p=web/php-distributions.git;a=commit;h=e6542c57ca68013d1cd26caf79eb306d0013e930
if you have proper bison on your system, the first works just fine, but we
prefer to have those file generated so it works for everybody regardless if
they have bison or the version of it.
sorry for missing this and kudos to Remi for reporting it like in an hour
or so.
