Hi,
I'm wondering when 4.4.3 is planed?
I have some a pending PEAR release (1.4.10) which fixes many
open_basedir issues. It is not critical as people can always update
later but it would be nice to get it in.
The initial deadline (30th of may) did not make it, no idea why and
also no idea when is the next one, Derick?

It is a shame. Why is it so hard to follow Ilia's way? I greatly
appreciate how he communicates and keep us informed.
Besides that, it is a real shame to have no release yet, some issues
may be critical. Do we need a new RM?

Ok, the RM seems to totally ignore my questions. Personal feelings or
any non technical events should not affect how we have to work
together.
I will wait until tomorrow to get an answer. If no info and
explanations have been given, I will have to find alternative
solutions to get my issues fixed and released.
One of these solutions is to release the extensions I maintain or need
outside the php 4.x tree, that's bad as it's a lot more work, although
it makes my life easer as I do not have to rely on a /dev/null like
correspondent. Especially as I will have to make clear the needs of the
update.
As I already said in the past, I'm ready to help, I'm also ready to
take the RM role if it helps to get php 4.4 released more frequently. I
like and use php5.x but php4 is still used by the huge majority of our
users.
Cheers,
