I am a Birdstep employee, and am trying to get the PHP UODBC module working with our RDM Server product. The changes needed are fairly simple, however, this is my introduction to the whole autoconf system, and I could use a little direction. What I want to do is modify the config.m4 file in the /ext/odbc directory, but I'm not sure if I should do this indirectly through a config.in file, or if I should directly modify the config.m4. I was under the impression that the config.m4 is generated using data in the config.in file, but as far as I am able to tell, that is not the case here... Can anybody help?

You're correct, you need to modify the config.m4 file in the ext/odbc
extension.
