I was always using nntp://news.php.net to reply to messages in the Internals
list. Sad thing: the syncing from the newsserver to the mailinglist is
currently broken. If that is a permanent situation the newsserver shuld be
rejecting usenet posts, like AFAIK php.internals.win does. Otherwise could
somebody fix the nntp 2 mail sync?

Andreas Heigl is looking into this issue. I have a very faint suspicion it has
something to do with the threading level, so I am really curious to see if
this message gets synced from nntp to mail.

Was this problem perhaps temporary? There was a general issue with
news.php.net yesterday.

I sure hope it was temporary. Strange thing is that I am missing a lot of
replies on externals.io, also older ones like
https://news-web.php.net/php.internals/107545
It is not where it should be: https://externals.io/message/107545

Looks like it was temporary indeed. Yesterday's disruption caused this:
