# Migrating Web from SVN to Git

Hi,

as already mentioned in earlier update reports we are moving the web
repositories to git.  I have some spare time to finally to it, so this
will happen today during the day. I will start with bugsqweb and then
move on and finish with the main repository and master beeing the last
ones to migrate.

I am aware that because of SOPA web/php gets a lot of commits today, so I
will move it tomorrow morning.

Expect the repositories to show up on git.php.net today. Maybe not all
automatic updates will work. If you have problems with committing, let me know.
