I'm not sure how I can make you sure that this is an email from Mr.Schmidt:

Do you already have a CVS account? If not, please apply for one and make 
sure you got CVS karma. Then you can start committing bug fixes and new 
features. If you want to make a new release, please inform me about 
this, I will then assign you the lead role on XML_XUL.

You will also need a PEAR account, which you can request at:
