Hi,

There are several (very) old files in phpweb. In order to save space on disk
:), I would like to know which one of these may I delete:

27-05-2000 18:40 840.141 ctlib-linux-elf-dynamic.tar.gz - sybase
stuff
03-12-1997 01:33 488.563 ctlib-linux-elf.tar.gz - sybase stuff
05-06-1998 14:51 391.856 dbwin32-2.4.10.zip - Berkeley's DB
11-02-1998 06:45 1.182.193 db_win32_2.3.16.zip - Berkeley's DB
27-03-1998 05:07 176.085 gd1.2.zip
16-01-2000 22:58 18.043 number4.tar.gz - seems the BC extension
for PHP 3 by Andi

There are also a couple of old patches that can probably be also deleted?:
31-05-2003 11:28 11.111 fd_patch-php-4.3.2.diff.gz
27-02-2002 09:42 488 mime.c.diff-3.0.gz
30-06-2001 16:06 312 php-4.0.6-memlimit.diff.gz
28-12-2001 22:46 1.319.214 php-4.0.6-to-4.1.1.patch.gz
28-12-2001 22:46 26.236 php-4.1.0-to-4.1.1.patch.gz
22-07-2002 05:41 320.248 php-4.2.0-to-4.2.2.patch.gz
22-07-2002 05:41 52.787 php-4.2.1-to-4.2.2.patch.gz
16-02-2003 16:44 1.079 php-4.3.0-to-4.3.1.patch.gz
27-02-2002 09:42 2.089 rfc1867.c.diff-4.0.6.gz
27-02-2002 09:42 534 rfc1867.c.diff-4.1.x.gz

I would like to delete these files if no one objects.

Thanks,
Nuno

Don't we have some PHP museum someplace? I prefer not to completely
delete these files.

Yes, we have, but I don't have (write) access to it..
But at least gd, dbwin* and ctlib-* don't need to go to our museum :)

Why not? THey might be needed to build those old versions and I don't
see any harm in keeping them around.

Ok, could we get connected with the museum maintainer? It would be nice
to know "once and for all" :) who can we contact. I also tried to push
the removal of the patch files from the CVS server (with cvs remove not
on the machine). So the point is not to wipe them completely, but to get
off some unneeded load from the mirrors. The PHP Museum is a perfect
place for these.
