PHP 8.6.0alpha1 has just been released and may be downloaded from
https://downloads.php.net/~mbeccati/

Or use the git tag: php-8.6.0alpha1

Windows binaries will be available soon at: https://windows.php.net/qa/

This is the first official release of the PHP 8.1 serial and includes
an incredible amount of work. Please test it carefully, and report any 
bugs at
https://github.com/php/php-src/issues/new?template=bug_report.yml
on GitHub.

8.1.0alpha2 should be expected in 2 weeks, i.e. on 16 Jul 2026.
