If we are going to make changes, we should not draw out the process, but nor should we have too much haste in making these decisions. Having a one week discussion period is some kind of compromise between a big RFC, and doing one thing at a time. Let us consider each issue on it's own, make good decisions on each issue, with clear majorities.
