From: smalyshev@gmail.com (Stanislav Malyshev) Hi! I wonder if we shouldn't move orphaned extensions out of the core and in PECL in 7.1? If nobody maintains the code, should it really be part of the core? Right now we have two orphaned extensions - wddx and xmlrpc, I suspect both are not too widely used now. They also had some issues, and without maintainer they turn into a liability. Continuing on this topic, maybe we also should have a review of the rest of the extensions and check if the ones marked as maintained still are, and if current maintainers are not active anymore ask for new ones to be assigned or change their status accordingly?
