I read it, and some of the language made me a little uncomfortable, so = I wrote up a wish list for what I=E2=80=99d want to see in any CoC we wer= e to adopt. Maybe it=E2=80=99ll help here, maybe it won=E2=80=99t. It=E2=80= =99s worth what you paid for it. :-) I=E2=80=99ve also heard arguments elsewhere that it=E2=80=99s somehow dan= gerous for projects to craft their own CoC, and they should only stick to= =E2=80=98established=E2=80=99 ones like the Contributor Covenant. This s= eems like =46UD to me. Licenses are also important, complicated documents= with serious implications, and while you might not want to write your ow= n, projects have a huge selection of OS licenses to choose from, and each= project can find one that suits their specific needs and community. I do= n=E2=80=99t see why CoCs should be any different. Oh, and try not to be =5Ftoo=5F hard on Jones. He may be an acquired tast= e, but he started writing contributor guidelines before it was cool. ;-) = http://solarphp.com/project/be-nice - Nate --568b6fc4_3804823e_a8be--
