Let's clean up that distributions directory and maybe only keep the latest two 4.x releases and the latest one 3.x release. So, in this case that would be: php-4.3.1 php-4.3.0 php-3.0.18 Also, do we need both .gz and .bz2 versions releases? I think we could decide on one. As for what to do with the older stuff ... I know someone had started a PHP museum with all the older releases back to PHP 1.x I think. Hopefully bandwidth isn't an issue for that person, but if it is, is there any reason we couldn't start a sourceforge project called "PHP Museum" or something, and store all the old releases and patches there? I'm willing to maintain it. - Colin Gabor Hojtsy wrote: > Hi! > > Here is the contens of the php.net/distributions dir: > > php-4.2.3.tar.gz > index.php php-4.2.3-Win32.zip > mime.c.diff-3.0.gz php-4.3.0-dev-zend2-alpha1pl1.tar.gz > php-3.0.17-win32.zip php-4.3.0-dev-zend2-alpha1.tar.gz > php-3.0.18.tar.gz php-4.3.0-dev-zend2-alpha2.tar.gz > php-4.0.6-memlimit.diff.gz php-4.3.0-dev-zend2-win32-alpha1.zip > php-4.0.6-to-4.1.1.patch.gz php-4.3.0-dev-zend2-win32-alpha2.zip > php-4.1.0-to-4.1.1.patch.gz php-4.3.0-installer.exe > php-4.1.2.tar.gz php-4.3.0.tar.bz2 > php-4.1.2-Win32.zip php-4.3.0.tar.gz > php-4.2.0-to-4.2.2.patch.gz php-4.3.0-to-4.3.1.patch.gz > php-4.2.1-to-4.2.2.patch.gz php-4.3.0-Win32.zip > php-4.2.2-installer.exe php-4.3.1-installer.exe > php-4.2.2.tar.bz2 php-4.3.1.tar.bz2 > php-4.2.2.tar.gz php-4.3.1.tar.gz > php-4.2.2-Win32.zip php-4.3.1-Win32.zip > php-4.2.3-installer.exe rfc1867.c.diff-4.0.6.gz > php-4.2.3.tar.bz2 rfc1867.c.diff-4.1.x.gz > > PHP 4.1.x files and binaries are not worth to be here anymore, are they?
