This has been under discussion for a really long time and putting it off is unlikely to substantially change the outcome. The current RFCs went to vote within the allowed timeline for PHP7. What you are basically saying is that the entire PHP 7 timeline is flawed. If that's the case then you should be arguing for the PHP7 timing to be changed, if you feel that any RFC will need additional development time, not for the typehinting RFCs to all be withdrawn.
