Couldn't we go this way and use his process ? add to his list the fact that functions, classes, and namespaces can be declared and used/called with case-sensitivity mismatches ? This would become clearly known by everyone. Then, as any other deprecated feature, raise an E_STRICT warning in 5.7, and deprecate it in 7.
