I just used the "subscribe via e-mail" to ezmlm method that someone here pointed out to me. Later tests seemed to work fine via the website too. Although, the first success happened after about 24 hours and trying again several times during that period. It eventually started working. If I was on a bad mirror, that would explain the issue.
