Is anybody interested in taking part of the d= iscussions there and representing PHP core? My take on this story is more the other way round. FIG is made of individuals, not really project based. These individuals obviously participate to many projects. Sadly not very often to the core. PHP core should get more contributors/contributuons from the numerous leading projects out there. As soon as one regularly contributes to the core, he will get the voting karma. This is something we have seen in the past, "legacy" core developers were not really in sync with the community needs or wishes. That's why we need them to work with the core instead of the other way 'round. It will create more bridges between FIG, the various leading PHP projects and the language development and design.
