Umm at what point did I say PERL is "stupid?"  PERL is like the duct-tape
of scripting languages; it can be used for just about anything, though
there's almost always a more specialized solution.  It serves a purpose.

But that being said, PERL has tons of flaws and other issues all its own.
That's why it amuses me whenever I see a PERL person get on a soapbox about
PHP.  Hypocrisy is funny.
