All I want you guys to think about is how you want to deal with this in terms of the PHP 5.3 release. If no decision is found and implemented over the weekend, this topic will essentially cement the need for an additional beta .. or at worse staying at alpha. I am playing a frisbee tournament this weekend, so I hope by Sunday evening there is a decision on how to proceed in regards to Closures/ Prototypes. Depending on what that decision is, we will figure out some schedule. The current plan would see a freeze on Monday, giving us Tuesday to do build fixing, Wednesday to package and Thursday to release. regards, Lukas
