I mean, seriously? No, not seriously. It's an old internet joke, a shibboleth among programmers, not unlike =20= "GOTO considered harmful", or "Real programmers Don't Use Pascal". Sometimes the humor doesn't make it through the tubes (another =20 shibboleth), other times users don't realize that their very subject/=20 idea is so absurd as to be laughable. For example, I will now propose that for usability reasons: 1. All built-in PHP functions should be aliased in the worlds most =20 used languages, so that declaring a "function" could also be written =20 as: "funktsioon", "otstarve", "=CE=BB=CE=B5=CE=B9=CF=84=CE=BF=CF=85=CF=81=CE= =B3=CE=AF=CE=B1 ", "=D9=88=DB=8C=D8=B1=D8=A7=DB=8C=D8=B4", =20 "Fonction", "funcionar", "fungsi", "funzionare", "=D2=9B=D1=8B=D0=B7=D0=BC= =D0=B5=D1=82", "=E5=8F=AF=20 =E7=AE=97", "=E3=83=A1=E3=82=BD=E3=83=83=E3=83=89", "funkcja" (etc.) Can I get a +1? While at first blush, it seems like a possibly interesting idea, upon =20= closer examination, it turns into either laughter, or a deep sense of =20= shame and admonition. The trick is knowing when a joke is intentional, or not. -Bop=
