I STILL have not got to a state where I can do much on the windows side, and have no intention on using M$ compilers on the development machines, but I DO now have the php_interbase code into PHPEclipse on Linux and can at least play with it. I've just done two big upgrades which use Apache2/FB2/PHP5.2.6 at this stage and that is unlikely to be moved to PHP5.3 as we will leave things alone now that it is running. They are on private networks so the PEAR bits has had to be 'imported', and the IT departments like to block my ability to change things once the systems are live. It's native Unicode and Firebird that we need to work on hence the wish to start playing with at least an alpha of PHP6 rather than spending time re-testing things in PHP5.X :( php_interbase passes all my tests fine now so what still needs doing?
