This hasn't been true of the Windows distribution for the last few years. I think it should be - I think the default install under doze should offer the same as the default install everywhere else. Outside of any other considerations, think of all those poor PHP newbies testing out a default install locally and then howling that SQLite doesn't work. Most of the help forums will tell them they have it installed - but they don't. They have it *available*, which is not the same thing. - Steph
