Now don't take this wrong... But I really don't think it would be fair/right of PHP Devs to commit to NOT releasing a version until after a closed-source application "works" with it. If the problems you have are wide-spread and likely to affect many users, you're all set anyway, right? But if it's some weird thing that only affects your application... Well, what should happen? The rest of the world waits for your problem to get resolved? Just don't sit right in my gut, personally.
