If you expect a "Yes, you are right and we all love you", move on ;-) Serioulsy, the goal of Rasmus' answer is to provide a technically acceptable solution to this problem. 5.0.5 was partially a mistake, we all agreed on that, but we have to go ahead. The first goal of my post in my blog (and planet) was to warn people before they upgrade. And it works for that matter.
