That's not really the intent here.  It's possible/likely that people ele=
cted to the TC will "carry more weight" in any discussions about roadmap=
s, but there's a chicken-and-egg question there as well.  (The kind of p=
eople that would get elected are probably the kind that would be listene=
d to.)

There's no plans in this RFC to change how feature development works.
