Unfortunately I have no experience implementing changes to the PHP source itself. I hope to find the time to work my way into php-src and hopefully contribute some RFCs and PRs in the future. Is input from non-core-devs on core-matters such as discussions of new features and language changes welcome? While I might not be able to speak for the implementation side, I have over a decade of experience using PHP in the field and would very much like to help the language develop. - Andreas
