Gabriel, go ahead and proceed with beta1 just like alpha3 then. No new branches, no APINO bumps, and continue cutting release branches from master for now. New branch date for 8.0 will be set to the Tuesday (September 15th) corresponding to the RC1 release (Sep 17th).
