From: sarkedev@gmail.com (Peter Stalman) --000000000000e3b85e05a828ac11 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Hi Internals, The problem with proposal and arguments about these "fixes" is that it's usually white people arguing about what is and what isn't offensive to black people. And isn't that the most racist thing about this: white people deciding for black people? No, it doesn't make you a better person to be offended on someone else's behalf. If there truly are black PHP developers who are offended by these terms then it's actionable, and we should hear from them. Otherwise it's just companies like Microsoft jumping on the PR bandwagon with some free publicity without affecting any real change, or people who want to see themselves as "better human beings". This is like the German guy who made VS Code change their Santa hat on the settings icon during last December because he said it was offensive to Jewish people (and he was not Jewish).
